Top Chef presenter Padma Lakshmi championed body positivity as she shared a filter-free video of herself poolside in a plunging white bikini on Wednesday afternoon.
As she hopped on a $99 Funboy inflatable jet ski, the 51-year-old cookbook author smiled brightly before falling into the water while her daughter Krishna, 12, looked on.

The mother-of-three’s comments section was flooded with comments praising her for flaunting her imperfections, with one even writing, “I can feel decades of stretch mark shame melting away forever!”
Others applauded the star for normalizing stretch marks.

In 2019, she told Us Weekly that she wasn’t on a diet prior to filming Bravo’s hit series Top Chef and didn’t mind the fact that she’d gained weight.
“I’m lucky because I’ve gained exponential weight everywhere. I do not care. I was just glad there was such a pretty dress,” she said on the red carpet at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards.
Lakshmi added: “And at the end of the day, it’s all about being comfortable. I’m done trying to squeeze my butt into something that’s too small. I do not care. You know, it shouldn’t be about how I look at this point in my career.”
