(ANSA) — ISLAMABAD, NOVEMBER 3 — Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has been shot in the foot after being shot during a political rally. This was explained by one of his closest advisers. “Imran Khan was injured in his foot. His condition is stable,” Raoof Hasan said, explaining that it was an “attempt to kill him, to murder him.” The attacker was subsequently killed by security forces. Since Friday, Khan, who was overthrown by a vote of no confidence in April, has been leading a “long march” towards the capital, Islamabad, in order to push through the call for early elections.
