Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are accused of making a statement in defense of King Charles III. to have given up. According to the Telegraph, sources close to the British royal family made the request to the couple after the ruler was named as one of those who had committed racism against Archie, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The controversy came to light this week when journalist Piers Morgan revealed that Charles and Kate Middleton, Prince William’s wife, were the royals behind comments about the skin color of Harry’s firstborn. The information would be contained in the Dutch version of the book “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival” by Omid Scobie, which has already been withdrawn from circulation due to a “translation error”. The work also reveals that Markle confided the sensitive matter to her fatherinlaw in letters.

One of the sources said it was “interesting” that Harry and Meghan had said nothing to confirm or deny the rumors, especially since they asked the palace for help when Markle’s name was vilified in the British media. The other insider admitted: “The silence at this moment is deafening.”

About two years ago, the couple said in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that people at Buckingham Palace had expressed “concerns” about Archie’s skin color. However, the names were never revealed by the couple. “I will never share this conversation,” Harry assured at the time. “It was strange at the time, I was a little shocked,” he confessed.

Since then, the couple has avoided reviving the issue, especially the Duke. The prince doesn’t even mention the case in his latest book, “Spare.” According to TMZ, Harry was now more cautious about the topic, suggesting the incident was about implicit bias. Earlier this year, Elizabeth II’s grandson criticized the media for turning what he and his wife told Oprah into an accusation of racism.

“In the interview with Oprah, you accused members of your family of racism,” the journalist began. “No, I didn’t blame. That’s what the British media said,” Harry corrected, interrupting him. “Did Meghan ever mention that they were racist? There were concerns about his skin color [Archie]”, he added. Regard:

Name revealed

King Charles III and Kate Middleton were mentioned in Scobie’s work, who assured that he was not aware of the information. Therefore, it is not yet known whether there was actually an error in the translation of the book or whether the names were in a draft and leaked. What has been guaranteed so far by the author himself is that Charles and Kate will not be mentioned in the English version.

In an interview with Britain’s This Morning, Omid Scobie denied quoting any of the royal members and said there was an ongoing investigation to find out who was responsible for the publication. Find out all the details and understand the story by clicking here.
