Pamela Anderson’s Chicago debut in the Netflix documentary

From Broadway star to reality star.

Pamela Anderson has revealed that her new two-part Netflix documentary will also chronicle her upcoming Broadway debut in the musical Chicago.

The blonde bombshell, 54, appeared on Good Morning America on Wednesday and opened up about her role as Roxie Hart and her new doctor.

“They’re actually following me on this journey, so they’re seeing a little bit of me getting ready for Roxie, too,” the Baywatch actress said of the docu-series. “But we didn’t intend to do that. Roxie has just literally come on over the past few weeks.”

The show’s producer, Barry Weissler, previously called the Canadian starlet about her role “just a few weeks ago.”

“How can you say no to him?” Anderson joked about her conversation with the producer. “It was just so outrageous, I thought. And it’s a good time. My kids are grown… so now I feel like it’s about time. i need a challenge i have to do something I needed that. I’ve been away for a while and I’m back to the challenge.”

She also revealed that while playing the iconic Roxie was challenging, she “surprised” herself with the rigorous amount of singing and dancing.

“I like that dangerous, crazy feeling of not being able to do something and then surprising yourself,” said the mother-of-two. “Maybe you don’t know what you’re capable of until you try it.

“That’s what I’m really curious about. What can I actually do? Because I haven’t done that much in my life except for my kids,” Anderson added.

The animal activist gushed about her new project and gushed about how the role felt “very fitting”. The role is so great.

“I just feel like this is really a moment to shine for once,” she concluded. “I do this for myself, which is rare.”

Anderson will take on the role of Hart at the Ambassador Theater from April to June.

News of her Broadway debut came immediately after the announcement of her documentary. Both projects were announced earlier this month.

The doctor will tell “the real story” of Anderson’s life. The Netflix announcement came amid the explosive Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy, which detailed Anderson’s 1990s sextape fiasco with ex-husband Tommy Lee.

“Pamela Anderson is ready to tell her story in a new documentary”, the official Netflix Twitter account wrote on March 3rd. “The film, which has been in the works for several years, will see the pop culture icon set the record straight as she looks back on her professional journey and personal journey.”

“My life,” read the note from the announcement. “A thousand imperfections, a million miscalculations… I can only surprise you – not a victim but a survivor and alive to tell the true story.”
