A sea of naked dancers in their most basic gear reportedly fled an illegal strip bar Sunday morning after a man was shot dead at the illegal New York City venue.
“The girls were naked and screaming and saying someone had been killed. “A lot of people ran into the store to change,” a security guard who works in a nearby building told the New York Post on Sunday.
Around 5:30 a.m., police were called to New York’s Koreatown where a group of barely-clad women had just left a strip bar and was screaming bloody murder after a 32-year-old man was shot there in front of them, police said.
“People were saying, ‘He’s dead, he’s dead, he’s dead.’ They were screaming and jumping over his body,” another witness said, the NY Post added.
Police sources told the American newspaper that the women came from an illegal strip bar that was open outside of permitted opening hours.
There have currently been no arrests in the case and the women involved have refused to cooperate with authorities, the security guard and other witnesses told the NY Post.
