In the interview that Paolo Bonolis gave to Domenica In, there was a moment when the conductor could not contain the emotions. The conductor, usually adept at exorcising the most intimate of questions, was moved by the video message from his daughter Adele, the middle man between the children he had with his wife Sonia Bruganelli. “Adele doesn’t like visibility and I didn’t expect it from her,” he said as he gazed proudly at the screen on which the 13-year-old’s images were projected.
In the clip Adele sent to the production of Domenica In, the girl congratulated her father on the success of his book Notte Fonda, which has been in bookstores for the past few weeks. “I am very happy with how your book is doing and I will read it with love. And I know that you will read my book with the same love when I finish it,” she told him with an attitude that is both tender and mature at the same time.
After the news, returning to the studio, Bonolis shared all of his love for the little girl, sharing some anecdotes from their daily lives: “She doesn’t like visibility – he confessed – she has a nice temper, she’s mentally alert. lots of movies together, we cry together, can’t wait for the Christmas break to see a dozen of these together. When we watch movies, I’m always touched and she with me, we are a vale of tears”.
“Do your f * ck,” Paolo Bonolis bursts out when asked about his wife Sonia
“She goes to acting school, as a father I wish her all the best”
“She’ll be 15 soon,” he added. “I don’t know what she wants to do when she grows up. She goes to drama school and I wish that she finds the path that suits her best. I try to tell my children what a father has to say, that would be best for them, but we are all different and the beauty of life is diversity. We certainly cannot change the character of a person who does not even care asked to be born. You are happy when you are who you are, not when you are what someone else wants you to be.”
About Silvia’s illness: “She does hippotherapy, today she is 19 and she is beautiful”
Then space for a few words about Silvia, the eldest daughter Sonia had. As you know the 19 year old had hypoxia during surgery when she was very small which affected some of her motor and mental abilities. “Today – Bonolis said – she plays the cello in a group of children, each of whom has their own little problems. She likes to be with others. We let her do everything, she even goes horseback riding, does hippotherapy. She does much “She is always happy and happy. Then she calls me and says: ‘Dad, I’m sleeping with mum, tiè’. She’s 19 and she’s beautiful, but they’re all beautiful: thanks to her mother.”
