THE Outstanding+ edited the poster for the new season of subtle Mayor of Kingston After the accident of the series star Jeremy Renner, in real life. As Variety noted, the new version removes almost all of the bruising seen on Renner’s face in the original poster.

Renner was hospitalized in critical condition after being hit by a snowplow on January 1. After multiple surgeries, the actor announced yesterday (17) that he has been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.

In “The Mayor of Kingstown,” the actor plays an exconvict turned boss of the powerful McLusky family who rule the city of Kingstown with an iron fist. The second season premiered Sunday (15th) on Paramount+.
