Paraskiing in the spotlight on Saturday in Sainte-Cécile-de-Lévrard

SAINTE-CÉCILE-DE-LÉVRARD. The 11th Paraski Festival will take place on Saturday March 9th in Sainte-Cécile-de-Lévrard.

During the event there will be an opportunity to take a Paraskiflex course priced at $125 for two hours and receive two additional hours free. To take the class, participants are asked to bring their skis or snowboards and contact Wax at 819 370-7899.

Paraskiing allows you to move quickly on a snow-covered surface using a sail. The participant straps on his skis (or gets on his snowboard), tensions his sail and lets the wind carry him.

Please note that a hot dog dinner is available on site and that the festivities end with a spaghetti dinner and a “Wax Team” themed evening at the Éric Côté Room at 228 Rue Principale. Tickets are available for $15 for children 10 and under and $25 for children 11 and older. The duo Luc & Gi will lead the evening (drinks on site).

Those interested in attending the festival are asked to contact Jean-Marie Dionne at 819 448-5465 or Serge Brisson at 819 263-2549 for full details. It is also possible to receive further information by email by writing to [email protected]. (MEV)
