Paris Jackson models a tie-dye top while riding her Vespa in Los Angeles… following claims her father Michael’s estate is selling half of his music catalogue

Paris Jackson looked casual as she rode her Vespa in Los Angeles on Friday, just days after her father’s estate decided to look at half of his music catalogue.

The 24-year-old model wore a brown and white tie-dye sweater and blue jeans. She added dark brown shoes to her ensemble.

She pulled a white motorcycle helmet tight over her head while driving the tan vehicle.

Jackson’s performance came just days after it was announced that her father’s estate would sell half of the late singer’s music catalogue.

The property is reportedly selling half the catalog for between $800 million and $900 million, according to Variety.

Variety insiders say Sony and an undisclosed financial partner are negotiating 50% of the catalog and other projects such as MJ: The Musical and the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic.

That would be the largest sum ever spent on a music catalogue.

Speaking of the biopic, Paris’ cousin Jaafar Jackson is set to play the King of Pop in an upcoming biopic called Michael, according to Deadline.

Jaafar is the son of Jermaine Jackson, brother of Michael and member of The Jackson 5. The 26-year-old has been singing and dancing since he was 12, following in the footsteps of his famous family.

Michael died in 2009 at the age of 50 from a cocktail of sedatives that led to cardiac arrest. Paris is one of Jackson’s three children.

The biopic, which will be directed by Antoine Fuqua for Lionsgate, is being produced by GK Films and co-executors of Michael Jackson’s estate, John Branca and John McClain.

Jaafar shared his gratitude for landing the role via his Twitter account, along with a black and white photo of himself dressed like his famous late uncle.

He wrote: “I am humbled and honored to bring my Uncle Michael’s story to life. To all the fans around the world, see you soon.”

In the picture, Jaafar sported an iconic Michael look that included striped trousers with a white t-shirt and jacket, hat and shoes in his signature pose.

Fuqua was named Michael Jackson biopic director last month. Jackson’s estate approved the company.

The 56-year-old filmmaker, best known for directing the ‘The Equalizer’ and ‘Training Day’ franchise, will work on the film, titled ‘Michael’, with Oscar winner Graham King.

“The first films of my career were music videos, and I still feel that the combination of film and music is a deep part of who I am,” the director said in a statement.

He continued, “For me there is no artist with the power, charisma and sheer musical genius of Michael Jackson. I was influenced to do music videos by looking at his work – the first black artist to play in heavy rotation on MTV.”
