The family feud between the Jacksons and the McCartneys is (apparently) no more.
In fact, Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson's 25-year-old daughter, sat so close to Paul McCartney – who famously went from friends to enemies with the King of Pop – in the front row of the Stella McCartney show during Paris Fashion Week Monday.
After MJ bought the rights to the Beatles catalog from his duet partner on “The Girl Is Mine” and “Say Say Say” in 1985, Jackson's eldest child was squeezed between two of the Fab Four – Macca, 81, to her right, and Ringo Starr, 83 , to her left – at Sir Paul's daughter Stella's womenswear fall/winter 2024-2025 show.
“She's very innovative and finds a way to make activism chic,” Paris Jackson said of supporting Paul McCartney's daughter Stella at her Paris Fashion Week show. It was the ultimate in designer relaxation – in front of a star-studded audience that included singer and rapper MIA, model Ashley Graham, The Good Place star Jameela Jamil, British actresses Naomie Harris and Charlotte Rampling, and Barbara Bach, Starr's Bond girl, his wife.
Jackson – a singer, model and actress – shared her late father's animal rights activism and environmental consciousness and showed her support for McCartney's ready-to-wear collection, which promotes sustainable materials.
“It's not just the animals,” Jackson told Women's Wear Daily about the need for an eco-friendly “change” in fashion.
“It's the environment in general, it's pretty much everything that's not human on this planet. I support that [and] How do we make it a safer place?
Jackson noted that McCartney does not use animal leather in her products, instead preferring alternative materials such as mushroom leather.
“It's the vegan stuff and the anti-cruelty stuff, but also just everything she does,” she said of her fellow music royalty.

But things weren't always so cool between the Jacksons and the McCartneys. In fact, they were downright chilled after MJ outbid Macca for the coveted Beatles catalog, paying $47.5 million for the right to own and license their music.
“I think it’s shady to do something like that,” the Beatles legend once said. “Being someone’s friend and then buying the rug it’s sitting on.”
But after Jackson's death at the age of 50 in 2009, there were rumors that he may have left the fabled catalog to McCartney in his will. Although this turned out not to be the case, Sir Paul had softened his stance towards his former friend following his death: “I feel privileged to spend time and work with Michael,” he said.
And McCartney would finally get the rights back to all those Beatles classics in 2017 – timeless tunes he made with Starr and her late bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison.
