Dopamine is looking for an employee for a part-time position (22 hours), possibly (27 hours) per week at the evening location.
Assignment:
Reception, support and accompaniment of people who use psychotropic drugs, their environment and the general population of the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve district and surrounding areas in the context of the prevention of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis and other STBBIs.
Job description :
Under the responsibility of clinical coordination, the employee provides all services of the dopamine evening center. Using a harm reduction approach, he/she intervenes with the aim of preventing sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STIs) in people who use injection and inhalation drugs, as well as in people who engage in sex work. In addition to distributing prevention materials, the employee is responsible for greeting, assessing, supporting and accompanying people who come to the evening place and the supervised consumption service.

Job Requirements:
- Academic training in a field related to social intervention or extensive experience that has enabled you to develop the knowledge and skills required for social intervention.
- Strong interest in the harm reduction approach, the prevention of STBBIs and the social environment.
- Good knowledge of prevention materials and risk practices for the transmission of STBBIs.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written French.
- Functional spoken English.
- Basic knowledge and skills in using computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Work schedule:
Opening hours: Friday to Sunday from 7:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. + office hours. (The hours are subject to change and increase up to 27 hours)
