Passengers experience moments of panic after Russian plane door opens midflight in minus 41 degrees Extra

The 25 passengers and crew members who were on board an Antonov AN26 this Monday (September 1st) experienced moments of panic afterwards One of the doors of the Russian plane opened while flying over Siberia (Russia) and the cabin became depressurized. “A man sitting in the back of the plane was almost blown away by the wind”said an occupant of the plane. “He had just unbuckled his seat belt. And he almost got sucked out of the plane.”accomplished.

The Antonov’s door, used for loading cargo and baggage, is normally isolated from passengers in the rear of the plane, but it was slammed shut wildly.

Nobody was hurt. The unusual incident is being investigated.

The Antonov AN26 is a civil and military aircraft with a length of almost 24 meters. In the maximum configuration it carries 40 passengers.
