The 25 passengers and crew members who were on board an Antonov AN26 this Monday (September 1st) experienced moments of panic afterwards One of the doors of the Russian plane opened while flying over Siberia (Russia) and the cabin became depressurized. The temperature at the time of the incident was minus 41 degrees.
According to the East2West agency, the pilot had to make an emergency landing on a snowcovered runway under the most adverse conditions because the luggage was sucked out of the plane.

The Antonov’s door, used for loading cargo and baggage, is normally isolated from passengers in the rear of the plane, but it was slammed shut wildly.
Nobody was hurt. The unusual incident is being investigated.
The Antonov AN26 is a civil and military aircraft with a length of almost 24 meters. In the maximum configuration it carries 40 passengers.
