Accompanied by Britt Lower (who plays Helly on the show and who said she’s “perfectly happy” with how things are going for her character), she insisted viewers need to worry and fear what employees of Lumon Industries comes who have undergone surgery to separate their professional and personal memories.

“Scared, very scared,” teased Arquette. I think these guys worked really hard and came up with a lot of really creative stuff. You have a whole world in mind. They let us get into the action bit by bit but I think it’s going to be fun and beautiful and Britt (Lower) is great as always.”

The actress is referring to the very mysterious plot of this story, in which one of the employees who has been “dissociated” (played by the excellent Adam Scott) gradually discovers a conspiracy network within the company he wants to work for forgetting the memories of his wife’s death in his real life.

As fans continue to theorize about what’s really happening at the company and where the story might take the characters in season two, the actress said she enjoys reading fan theories on social media.

“I love reading everything: all their ideas, what they’re thinking, because they’re really invested,” continued the actress, who explains that she’s largely kept in the dark and knows “very little” about what she’s up to expected the shoot.

The series was officially renewed for a second season in April. Filming for Season 2 began in late October, but the official release date has not yet been announced. “You get it when you get it,” said Patricia Arquette.

“The entire team is so excited to be back and re-entering this incredible world that Dan Erickson created,” added comedian Britt Lower.
