In addition to managing advertising revenue for Quebecor Media and TVA Group, Patrick Jutras will now serve as President of Quebec MELS Studios.
These new roles come into effect on Monday and complement those he has already held in the Quebecor group since 2019.
Mr. Jutras holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and international trade from the University of Quebec in Montreal and certification from Harvard Law School and has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions.
He also has experience managing commercial operations across Canada, business development, sales, marketing and communications.
“I am convinced that with Patrick Jutras as manager, MELS will exploit even more opportunities for filming mega-productions and foreign series for its studios and maximize business opportunities for its diverse services, including post-production,” emphasized the interim president and CEO of the TVA Group, Pierre Karl Péladeau.
“In the coming months, my management team and I will aim to maximize MELS’ impact and move closer to our local and international partners to provide them with a level of service unparalleled in the industry,” stated Mr. Jutras.
