Patsy Palmer tripped on her back during Sunday night’s episode of Dancing On Ice as she stepped out for a Wicked-inspired routine.
The soap star was mid-program with partner Matt Evers when she took a wrong step and ended up hitting the ice before being lifted back up by the pro.
And in the crowd supporting her throughout the routine was Sid Owen, who famously played her husband Ricky Butcher in EastEnders.

Patsy took on the role of the character Elphaba from the West End show Wicked and was even painted green when she went on the ice in the role.
But despite a strong start for the actress and her partner Matt, who danced to the production’s song Defying Gravity, things took a turn midway.
Patsy skated alongside her professional partner as he followed closely with his arms behind her.
The star seemed to lose her footing as she fell on her back on the ice, narrowly missing a hit from Matt’s skate as he slid past before stopping sharply to save her.
It was a quick turnaround for Patsy, who bounced back and confidently continued the routine after the wobble.
And to finish, the actress was lifted heavily in the air as she finished the performance facing the ice.
Despite the fall, the beauty still received positive comments from the judges, who praised her hard work.
“If you fall, try,” said judge Christopher Dean.
While the pair managed to get a 20.5 score, she finished second in the rankings to Michelle Heaton.
Fans took to Twitter to discuss the moment after her performance when the danger aspect was realized.
While Patsy and her partner thankfully didn’t appear to be hurt, one fan shared: “Well that just happened!!! Ooopppssss!!!! That was dangerous since the blade was so close to his face…’

But some couldn’t help but see the irony of the song choices and fell, as another fan wrote: “I’m sorry but Patsy Palmer fell over on Dancing On Ice while skating to ‘Defying Gravity’ of all things? Couldn’t have asked for a better script.
And from the audience was Patsy’s former soap co-star Sid, who was delighted to see his longtime pal on the ice.
The star portrayed Bianca Jackson in EastEnders, with one of her most famous storylines alongside Sid as they played a rocking on-off couple.
Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield poked fun at a famous scene from the soap, shouting “Rickyyyy” while chatting to the actor before Patsy’s performance.

Despite the fall, Patsy and Matt managed to roll through to next week’s show as it was Liberty X star Michelle who lost her position in the competition.
With no dance-off taking place that week, the former singer immediately lost her place in the competition as she achieved the lowest score on the judges’ scoreboard and in the public vote.
Explaining the new format change earlier in the show, Phil shared, “We combine the judges’ scores with your vote and then the lowest-placed couple will be eliminated directly from the competition.”
“Just for a week… there’s no skate to save her,” he added, as Holly branded the move “brutal.”
Topping the rankings was Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, who impressed the judges with his performance of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, earning a score of 33.5.
Carley Stenson, The Vivienne and Joey Essex all followed close behind at the top end of the rankings.
And it was a comeback for Ekin-Su Culculoglu as she returned to the ice after facing the dreaded skate-off last week and suffering a series of setbacks from her muggy first routine.
The Love Island star, 28, turned things upside down this week when she took to the ice as Nun Maria von Trapp for a musical Wee performance, scoring 23 out of 40.
Judges Christopher and Ashley Banjo noted Ekin-Su’s improvement on the ice after the performance, although the head judge deducted a point for the TV personality “shaking” during her free skate.

The routine, which saw The Wanted star, 34, and his partner Klabera Komini, 29, don black and red leather outfits, earned Siva a score of 26.5.
