Paul Costict, a member of the 90s rap collective B-Rock and The Bizz, has died aged 57.
The musical artist died “unexpectedly” on Saturday, October 21, at his home in Norfolk, Virginia, TMZ reported on Monday.
A family member spoke to the outlet but did not provide any information about the cause of death.
The person said he only spoke to the musician on Wednesday and noted that he was in good spirits but had been ill.
B-Rock and The Bizz found temporary success with their 1997 hit My Baby Daddy, which peaked at number ten on the Billboard music charts at the time.

The song went gold and the accompanying plaque was featured in an argument between Paul and his ex-wife during an episode of Divorce Court.
Paul held dual roles as road manager and active member of the music group.
Thaddeus “T-Bird” Maye, who grew up in Costict, Alabama and was part of B-Rock and The Bizz, told TMZ he was “a very funny and cool brother.”
Costict’s influence has been felt over the years, with Rihanna notably wearing a “Dat’s just my baby daddy” T-shirt as a tribute to the song during her pregnancy in 2022.
