The news of presenter Paul Houde's death was a “shock” for Sébastien Goulet, the sports journalist said in an interview on LCN in which he paid tribute to him.

While preparing to commentate on a tennis match, the TVA Sports journalist heard the news on his phone.
Sébastien and his colleague were amazed that they would never have expected such a quick farewell to the man with many talents.
Paul Houde is considered an outstanding communicator and was a source of inspiration for the sports commentator that Mr. Goulet became.
“Paul Houde is an inspiration. Paul Houde was the perfect proof that to be interesting you have to be informed and prepared. “He is really someone who had diverse passions and knew how to communicate them,” he explains in an interview with Simon Gamache-Fortin and Marie-Lise Mormina.
“He is the only person I knew with whom you could have a discussion about yesterday's hockey results in one second and then have a spirited debate about the importance of turning the clock back to November and bringing it forward to March. “

Speaking from home, Sébastien Goulet describes Mr Houde as a “remarkable” man and claims it was a privilege to have met him.
Paul Houde died on Saturday morning at the age of 69. After his death was announced by his loved ones, tributes poured in from all quarters.
