“Paul in All His States”: Paul Houde on the Streets of the United States

Paul Houde has traveled hundreds of miles across the United States in an RV over the past few months.

We follow him in the series Paul in all his states, an adventure that we promise will be as “captivating as it is informative” and will be available on the Vrai platform from November 14th.

Paul will be accompanied on the occasion by historian Francis Primeau.

In the ten 60-minute episodes, the two men visit important places in American history. They’ll stop in 11 states and 15 cities and travel back in time to tell the story of 10 historical subjects.

In the trailer released on Wednesday, we see the two men in Memphis, Tennessee, where they visit Graceland, the estate of the late Elvis Presley, the legendary Sun Studio, where the first rock ‘n’ roll single was recorded, and the Lorraine Motel Visit where Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968. They then arrive in Los Angeles, California, where they become interested in the crime scenes of the OJ Simpson and Charles Manson cases. When they arrived in San Francisco, further north, they returned to the hippie movement that was born there.

Their journey also took them to New Orleans, Louisiana, then to New York State where the Woodstock Festival took place in 1969.

The images are very beautiful if we rely on what we have seen so far, and Paul Houde shares his feelings and great erudition throughout the series.

Produced by Pixcom in collaboration with Quebecor Content, the all-state series Paul will be available on Vrai from November 14th.
