PC Siqueira rose to fame through YouTube reproduction
The 37yearold Youtuber PC Siqueira was found dead in his apartment in the south zone of São Paulo in the afternoon of this Wednesday the 27th. The information was confirmed to EXTRA by the Secretariat of Public Security of São Paulo.
SAMU had already been taken to the apartment in Santo Amaro and death had already been confirmed when the SP military police were called. The case was registered by the 11th DP (Santo Amaro).
PC Siqueira rose to fame in 2010 when he began making videos in his vlog “Mas poxa vida” in which he talked about various topics in the world and in life itself. In addition to irony as a strength, he also stood out because of his external appearance: crosseyed, thin and short. The success led him to television shows on MTV with interviews and reports on pop culture and games. In 2019, the Guarulhos native was one of the participants in the reality show “O Aprendiz”.
Without hiding from his internet audience the fact that he suffered from depression, anxiety and panic syndrome, in 2016 the YouTuber published the book “PC Siqueira is dead”, which he wrote in collaboration with the journalist Alexandre Matias. With the subtitle “Fragments of a Digital Life,” the volume was presented as a text that oscillates between fiction and reality.
“The book brings together transcriptions of digital and analog files that may (or may not) belonged to the former MTV VJ,” the Ear informed. “In these fragments, PC lives a different life, revealing episodes from his past, exposing his fears and weaknesses, and playing with the myths that have always surrounded his controversial personality.”
