PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – Pearl Jam have rescheduled their tour dates for 2020 and are embarking on a 2020 North American tour that will run from May to September 2022. The group will stop in Glendale at the Gila River Arena. on Monday May 9th with the opening of Pluralone and the addition of Josh Klinghoffer as a tour member.
Ticket pre-sales for all tour dates for existing members of the Pearl Jam Ten Club have begun and public tickets will be available through Ticketmaster’s verified fan registration opening Sunday, March 27, with the verified fan sale beginning Tuesday, March 29 at 10:00: 00:00 am local time. Pearl Jam’s European tour dates have been rescheduled for June and July 2022. The group says it will pay $200 per tonne for all carbon reduction measures during the Gigaton tour.
Stone Gossard said in a press release: “We are proud of our previous efforts to reduce our inevitable touring carbon footprint over the past 20 years, but the time to step up those efforts is clearly now. By adhering to this aggressive pricing, we hope to equally strengthen our efforts and bring together partners who share our need for the investment and innovation needed to transition our world to a more conscious, carbon-balanced economy.”
