Peloton instructor Jenn Sherman invites Christopher Nolan to take an “insult-free” class with her

Peloton instructor Jenn Sherman is trying to make amends for dissing himself about Christopher Nolan's film “Tenet” in a workout video he attended.

Sherman now invites Nolan to take part in one of her “no insults” classes. In response to Nolan attending her class from December 2020 and hearing her comments, the cyclist posted a video on Instagram.

“It's a great day for me to learn that the only Christopher Nolan, one of the leading filmmakers of the 21st century, knows who the hell I am. “I was excited… and then I read the article,” she began.

Sherman apologized for saying Tenet was “two and a half hours of my life that I want back.”

“Listen, it was 2020. It was a dark time. I'm standing on the platform teaching my little class, and I'm talking my head off, as everyone knows me to do. And I make a random comment about a movie I saw the night before,” Sherman explained. “What do you think are the chances that the director of the film in question would make this trip some four years later?” Yes, that would only happen to me.”

“So here’s what I want to say. I may not have understood for a minute what the hell was going on in Tenet, it just went over my head. But I saw Oppenheimer twice and that's six hours of my life that I never want to give back,” she said. “So Mr. Nolan, I invite you to join me for a ride at the Peloton studio. You can criticize my class, we will have a great time. You'll have a front row seat and I promise you it will be insult-free. Let me know. Take me on that.”
