Candida (Zeze polessa), who has just been elected mayor, will be devastated to learn that her eldest son was involved in so many crimes. And when you get home, you’ll find him packing his bags to escape.
“Hurry up, Gaspar! Come on!” he will say. Anselmo (Paulo Betti), who shortly afterwards hands his son an envelope with money. “Here, for expenses. Get lost before someone comes! You will be fine, my son! An Evaristo has never been arrested, you won’t be the first!”, the former mayor will say, as corrupt as his firstborn.

“Are you going to run away like a coward, Gaspar?” Cândida will say when she sees the scene.
The mother will demand satisfaction and want to know what other crimes Gilda was involved in, but will be interrupted by her husband, claiming that Gaspar will be arrested if he doesn’t leave immediately. Before he leaves, however, he will make a very lame excuse.

“But now know that everything I did wrong was out of love! Gilda has enchanted me, mom! “I’m still crazy about her!” the villain will say, who will then give Cândida an unrequited hug before running away.
After the villain leaves, the mayor breaks down, unable to believe what a criminal the son she raised is.
“Now, Cândida, don’t be naive! Gaspar was simply enchanted by Gilda and did her a few favors, nothing more!” Anselmo will defend.
“What ‘small favors’ exactly? Why is he running away with his tail between his legs? Is what they said about him in court true? Was he Gilda’s partner in the crimes she committed? And did you know everything?” Cândida will ask.
