Peru is ready to be present in the present V South American Beach Games Santa Marta 2023. The flag-bearers of the 48-strong delegation include surfer Daniella Rosas, nominated by the Peruvian Olympic Committee, and sailor Jean Paul de Trazegnies. This competition will take place in Colombia from July 14th to 21st.
As we recall, Daniella Rosas is currently a three-time South American WSL champion, while last year Jean Paul de Trazegnies was crowned champion of the Sunfish World Cup, held on Lake Garda in Italy, and won a gold medal in sunfish at the Odesur Asunción games , Paraguay 2022.
Rosas, who was also a flag bearer at the JJ. ooh Tokyo 2020 said: “It’s fantastic to be your country’s flag bearer at international games. I was in Tokyo in 2020 and now I have that honor again at the 2023 South American Games in Playa Santa Marta. Many thanks to the Olympic Committee, chaired by Renzo Manyari, for the trust they have placed in me and I will do everything to achieve a medal for Peru.”
