“Our goal is to protect the fans and the team. “For the safety of everyone involved, we will be canceling our show in Tijuana,” the company said in a message posted to its Instagram Stories.

The announcement came after Narcomantas appeared in various parts of the border city on September 12 and warned the singer against performing at Caliente Stadium.

On this occasion, the municipal president, Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, indicated to the local press that the possibility of canceling the event within the framework of the Double-P tour of the featherweight (real name: Hassan Emilio Kabande) was being examined, also for reasons unknown, canceled his show in Puebla and had to postpone the date in Guadalajara from November 4th to October 27th.

On September 13, city authorities said they had arrested a suspect hanging the blankets. However, his identity was not revealed and no further information about the case was shared until the artistic team announced the cancellation of his show today.

A few days ago, without further explanation, changes were made to some dates on the featherweight tour in the United States, particularly in Illinois, Wisconsin, Alabama and Indianapolis.

Meanwhile, Peso Pluma continues to triumph as a global artist. Although he didn’t receive much recognition from the Latin Academy on Tuesday when the Latin Grammy nominations were announced, he made history last week when he became the first regional Mexican artist to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards, topping the list of Finalists for the Billboard Top Latin Music Awards with 21 mentions in 15 categories. He will also be participating in Billboard’s Latin Music Week from October 2-6.
