The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals recognize an opportunity when they see one.
A bite was taken from Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobile, and now the world’s largest animal rights organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has offered to pay for the repairs on one condition.
The organization sent a letter to the US President from Kraft Heinz, Carlos Abrams Riveraand offers to cover the cost of repairs if the company converts it into a vegan hot dog.
As you may or may not remember, a few weeks ago in the Las Vegas Valley, a couple of thieves stole the 27-foot Wienermobile’s catalytic converter — a key part of the exhaust system. To get it working again, PETA said it would cover the cost, but only if Kraft Heinz agrees to the organization’s terms.
