Pete Davidson apologizes for Taco Bell’s bizarre breakfast menu as he debuts new morning specials in new ads for the fast-food chain
They were once home to the controversial Waffle Taco and the Naked Egg Taco.
Now, with the help of Pete Davidson, Taco Bell is apologizing for its bizarre breakfast menu.
The comic, 28, will appear in two commercials showcasing Taco Bell’s new and improved breakfast menu.

“Sometimes we go too far,” Pete says in a commercial as he walks into a Taco Bell joint. “I did, and that’s why Taco Bell hired me to do an apology video.”
Then he asks the clueless cashier to apologize for the breakfast menu.
‘Huh?’ She says.
“Taco Bell went a little nuts at breakfast,” says Pete, as footage of her past morning meals flashes on screen. “It was too much,” he admits.

“What you need in the morning is tasty, simple food,” he continues. “Flaky eggs, melted cheese, soft sausage, hash browns. Maybe wrap it in a warm tortilla.’
“It’s a breakfast crunch wrap,” the cashier interjects.
“Well, they should open a restaurant that only serves us crunch stuff for breakfast,” Pete replies, before jokingly admitting he hasn’t read the script.

“It’s Pete Davidson, I’m here to tell you about the most amazing breakfast I think you could ever dream of,” he says, before being presented with a fresh crunchwrap.
“Here at The Bell Breakfast you will find a delicious, simple breakfast. Like the breakfast crunch wrap because that’s all you need in the morning. Fluffy eggs, melted cheese, sausage, hash browns, always wrapped in a warm tortilla. That’s the kind of bell breakfast.’
Biting into the new delicacy Taco Bell, he is abruptly awoken from his daydream by a real cashier.
“I’ll have a breakfast crunch thingy,” he replies, rather wearily.
Taco Bell’s new commercials are set to air this month through December 24, according to CNN.
