Former “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson was charged on Friday with reckless driving in an incident in March, Los Angeles prosecutors confirmed to ABC News.

According to the prosecutor’s office, Davidson faces a single felony charge for allegedly driving his vehicle into a Beverly Hills home.

“We believe that Mr. Davidson committed reckless driving which ultimately resulted in his being involved in a serious collision with a home,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement. “Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in this collision.”

Davidson’s indictment is scheduled for July 27.

A Davidson representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from ABC News on Friday.

Penalties for a reckless driving conviction may include a fine of $145 to $1,000 and/or imprisonment from 5 to 90 days.

Davidson is currently starring in the Peacock streaming comedy series Bupkis. In the show, he plays a fictionalized version of himself.

The actor was supposed to promote his new show by returning to the SNL stage as a host last month, but the episode was canceled due to the start of the Hollywood writers’ strike.
