Nothing hints that the Carolina Panthers are interested in Jimmy Garoppolo. However, the San Francisco 49ers don’t have many trade options left. The team would probably prefer to see the seasoned quarterback and his $25+ million salary removed from the record.

As the quarterback market dries up and the 49ers seem to be overvaluing Garoppolo, the team may have to swallow their pride and opt for a less desirable option.

Peter King of NBC Sports has one Panther-related idea.

“I don’t think there’s a good market at all [for Garoppolo]”King told Colin Cowherd at The Herd. “I think the 49ers are best off doing one of two things: trying to trade him for Sam Darnold right with Carolina because I think Carolina will see that as an improvement, or stick with Jimmy until someone gets hurt [before the start of the season].”

If the Panthers aren’t interested, the 49ers may have no choice but to wait until the end of the offseason to see if an NFL team is in desperate need of a quarterback. San Francisco is unlikely to send Garoppolo to the division rival Seattle Seahawks and would like to avoid an outright firing of the quarterback.

“[By] by then Jimmy Garoppolo will be healthy and able to throw the ball well,” King explained. – There’s nothing wrong with the 49ers waiting. They must not pass it on to anyone.”

The first option could prove profitable if the 49ers promise Garoppolo that he will be elsewhere by a certain date. Of course, the quarterback who recently had shoulder surgery didn’t help the situation.

“Colin, maybe John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan looked Jimmy in the eyes and said, ‘We promise we’ll trade you,’ or something like that,” King added. “If they did, they might have to do something like [a deal for Darnold]. But if I were them right now, I would tell Jimmy, “Be patient. You’ll be somewhere by the trade deadline.” Nobody’s perfect. Did you find an error in this article?

As expected, the Washington Commanders, in need of defensemen, were traded for a new signalman. No, that’s not San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. An NFL insider reports that the Commanders are believed to have conceded two third-round picks to Wentz. Sources say the Colts are trading QB Carson Wentz to Washington for a package of packages believed to include two third-round picks.

Joe Staley: 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s operation time could be used to reduce trading value

Former San Francisco 49 tackle Joe Staley said two remarkable things while speaking to KNBR on Wednesday. First, he’s thrilled to see 49ers nemesis Russell Wilson leaving the NFC West, feeling that the former Seattle Seahawks quarterback won’t have much success with the Denver Broncos. “I’m not a big Russell Wilson supporter,” Staley admitted on the Papa & Lund show. “I know I’ve heard a lot of people putting him in the top tier of NFL quarterbacks over the last decade, but I think it’s a big hit, even if you go back to the year they dominated. us, it was more protection.” Staley doesn’t think Wilson will have weapons around him in Denver to make it big and now the team is lacking a good one.

Pelissero: 49ers trade price for Jimmy Garoppolo could be ‘second-round pick and more’

Last week, it was rumored that the team offered the San Francisco 49ers a second-round pick for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. If that’s true, what’s stopping a deal? After all, the Niners are over the cap by about $9.6 million, and releasing Garoppolo’s massive salary will quickly see them below the $208.2 million salary cap. So, assuming the second round pick is correct, why are we still waiting for Garoppolo’s decision? According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, the 49ers want more. “Now he’s had surgery on his shoulder,” Pelissero Kay Adams told Good Morning Football. “Won’t be cleared until the start
