Luca Argentero and Fedro Francioni
At the age of 30, he was 67 days in what was certainly the most spied on house in Italy in the early 2000s. He entered by accident and left voluntarily, because fortunately the affects sometimes outweigh the (special) effects. Today Fedro Francioni is 53 years old, has a wife, a son, a job that he loves and lives in Tombolo, in the province of Padua. At Big Brother he shared spaces and experiences with Luca Argentero, from whom he distances himself today.
Phaedrus, how did the Big Brother adventure begin?
“On a sofa. I was at home with a friend and lost a bet. The promise to pay was to go to the audition for this show ».
Of course he went there. do you remember this day
“I went to the Piazza del Popolo in Rome, where there was a little Big Brother trailer. Two hundred people lined up, each stranger than the next. It looked like the circus. I left my name with the staff and they told me to wait. After an hour of waiting, I, who, among other things, didn’t feel like doing this audition, had decided to leave. The promise was nevertheless kept. But when I wanted to leave, I was called ».
And what did they make her do?
«In this case, too, I was very lucky because if they asked me to tell a joke, I would have made a fool of myself, instead they just asked me to tell a funny anecdote. And since I had done a lot of crap in my life, I got off very well.”
They stayed at the Big Brother House for 67 days. He was not eliminated but went out voluntarily. A sadness hit her. When he experienced these moments, he was indicated, among other things, as one of the favorites for the final victory.
“An aunt I was very fond of had died. In those years it wasn’t like being let in and out. They told me: either inside or outside. I went out because I wanted to go to Aunt Annamaria’s funeral and hug my cousins. Happy to have chosen family affections ».
How were those 67 days?
«I lived this chance experience very easily. Today everything has changed, I would speak of unspeakable behavior, there is nothing spontaneous, everything is constructed. But maybe it was also because the program was looking for new paths after so many years.”
This edition of Big Brother also starred Luca Argentero, now an actor who has conquered audiences. What relationship did she have with him?
“When I hear that name, it’s like sticking my finger in a wound. He and I were practically brothers, both inside and outside the home. We shared many experiences, we also shared the same apartment. Then, over time, he turned out to be someone else, an opportunist. We had a fight and we don’t see each other anymore. For me it was a huge disappointment.”
The third edition marked the first time that Barbara D’Urso hosted the GF. How did you find that?
“If you are in his favor he puts you in the palm of his hand, if he doesn’t like you it’s better if you stay 10 meters away from him. Luckily he liked me and I see her a couple of times a year when she invites me to afternoon 5 ».
Is there anything nice to see on TV today?
“I used to follow a lot of politics, but I fell in love with it and stopped watching talk shows. I follow sport, I’m an Inter player and I’ve worn this cross for 40 years now.”
From Big Brother to Veneto.
“It was a coincidence. After the experience in the GF I had started touring the discos and one day I happened to pass by the radio headquarters of Roberto Zanella’s group, where I still work today, I auditioned and from there has everything started ».
So Phaedrus married the radio world, what experience is that?
“In the beginning, Radio Piter Pan was a small station, then it grew a lot, we’re very popular and have big audiences.”
What programs does it run?
«I am the author and moderator of the program “Lo sfogatoio”. Here, every day from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., we give everyone a voice on topics of great importance such as speed cameras, cosmetic surgery, disputes between neighbors. And as the title of the show says, people let off steam and we let them tear it down uncensored».
She also has a baby. Had he ever imagined a father-sized Phaedrus?
«His name is Gianfilippo and he is six years old. If they had told me a long time ago that I would become a father and start a family, I would not have believed it. Only I lead a dissociated life. Then I met my partner Elena who set me on the right path. She is a psychologist and many say that she took care of me ».
Du Roman arrived in Veneto when the La Liga winds were strong. How did you experience the time of “thieving Rome”?
“Many Roman friends envy me because they know that life is good here. Once I also voted for Salvini, then I regretted it and I would never do it again».
Does Phaedrus have new goals or a dream to realize today?
“I am 53 years old and very calm. I have a wonderful job, I make money, I have an amazing wife and I would honestly commit to that for the next thirty years.”
