Phillip Schofield looked good on Sunday as he joined the Stars at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

The broadcaster, 60, donned a navy blazer and sunglasses for the event, a day after attending London’s Pride celebrations – his first since coming out as gay in 2020.

Phillip slipped the jacket over a pink and white checked shirt, which he then tucked into skinny black jeans.

The This Morning presenter slipped on dark Chelsea boots and shielded his eyes behind designer aviator goggles.

His silver locks swept to one side, Phillip carried his belongings in a black backpack while his VIP badges hung from a lanyard around his neck.

Beaming for the cameras, the star rubbed shoulders with celebrities and racers in the paddocks and posed for selfies with fans before the race began.

It comes after Phillip attended his first Pride celebration as a proud gay man after the event returned for the first time in the wake of the COVID pandemic.

The star – who has been married to wife Steph since 1993 – came out in February 2020 and appeared on the ITV show to discuss his news with co-host and best friend Holly Willoughby, during which he burst into tears.

Phil, who is father to daughters Molly and Ruby, was joined on Saturday by Dame Kelly Holmes, who also came out and said it was her first LGBT+ event ever.

Alison Hammond, Lorraine Kelly and the stylish Gok Wan also took part in the parade, which marked the historic 50th anniversary of the first British parade in London.

Mr Schofield was also seen on her Instagram Live giving the heart sign to the crowd of over 600 LGBT+ groups who joined the march – the first event since the pandemic began.

Floats lined Park Lane as revelers were seen wearing make-up, glitter, jewels and sequins as they walked from Hyde Park Corner to Whitehall while paying homage to the original 1972 march, which was attended by 2,000 people.

Organizers are calling it the “biggest, most inclusive event in history,” but it has drawn criticism from one of the original protesters in recent years.

LGBT+ rights activist and human rights activist Peter Tatchell said it had become “too corporate and commercial” and not focused enough on politics.

His Gay Liberation Front (GLF) led the parade and held placards that read “I was there in 1972” and that they “still” fight for global LGBT+ freedom.

Also performing on the day was pop star Ava Max, Emeli Sande, Eurovision winner Netta, Samantha Mumba and Kat Graham.

Singer Ms Sande, who said in April she was in a relationship with classical pianist Yoana Karemova, posted a story to her Instagram showing her and her partner heading to the sound check.
