An unflattering photo of Yevgeny Prigozhin in underwear was leaked on the internet on Friday, as Vladimir Putin’s regime appeared to be waging a campaign to denigrate the Wagner boss after his mercenary group’s failed mutiny.

The image, which has surfaced in Russian-language chat rooms on messaging app Telegram, shows a meek-looking Prigozhin waving at the camera while sitting on an unmade camp bed inside a large tent.

The mercenary leader’s white, form-fitting beige t-shirt hugs his stomach tightly, while his black briefs accentuate his skinny, doughy legs.

Metadata shows the snap was taken at 7:24 a.m. on June 12, just 11 days before Prigozhin attempted to lead an armed insurgency against Russian military leaders, according to the Telegraph.

It’s unclear who took the picture or leaked it.

The image is just the latest in a series of leaked snaps showing the once-feared warlord in bizarre and embarrassing getups.

Six photos were broadcast on a state-controlled Russian TV channel on Wednesday, showing Prigozhin wearing a series of absurd disguises, including wigs and false beards, for his mercenary work abroad.

In one picture, the Wagner boss can be seen with Justin Beiber-style side-swept bangs, while in another he sports a long salt-and-pepper beard reminiscent of Sacha Baron Cohen’s character in The Dictator.

The series of leaked images appear to be part of an attempt by Vladimir Putin’s regime to discredit Prigozhin following his failed armed mutiny.

Prigozhin led troops on a march on Moscow last month, believed to be part of a plan to capture senior Russian military leaders and demand a change in military leadership.

Prigozhin claimed the uprising was aimed not at the president but at removing other top politicians.

The head of the mercenary group finally called off his short-lived uprising after striking a deal with the Kremlin.

After the surrender, Kremlin troops searched Prigozhin’s St. Petersburg mansion and office and found a room full of sophisticated medical equipment, a vast arsenal of weapons, several passports, and nearly $111 million in cash and bullion he had collected on his property .

Law enforcement officials shared their findings with state media in an attempt to tarnish Prigozhin’s public image, which had seen him as a warrior on the front lines of Russia’s war in Ukraine.

“Displaying the wealth that Prigozhin possesses is a way to undermine his anti-elite message among the populace,” Mary Glantz, senior adviser to the United States Institute of Peace’s Russia and Europe Center, told The Hill.

Putin branded Prigozhin a traitor and denied ever having been Wagner’s real leader.

The president announced harsh penalties, but the criminal case against the mercenary chief for rebellion was later dropped.

In an interview with business daily Kommersant on Thursday, Putin said Wagner “simply doesn’t exist anymore” after claiming he offered the group the option of staying intact after the uprising — but Prigozhin rejected the idea.
