The Don’t Start Now singer, who portrays the mermaid Barbie, walked the red carpet in a totally sheer crystal mesh gown signed by Bottega Veneta. Her hair down, lace panties and a diamond-encrusted Tiffany & Co necklace completed her look.
The 27-year-old singer is also directing the soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s feature film, for which she released Dance the Night last month.
Billie Eilish and Nicki Minaj, who also sign songs for this soundtrack, were also among the fine line-up of stars that walked the pink carpet.

The film’s star, Margot Robbie, meanwhile, opted for a retro-style black dress inspired by 1960s Barbie doll Solo in the Spotlight. Her main partner, Canadian Ryan Gosling, was dressed all in pink.
