At the scene, firefighters quickly deployed their hoses to bring the flames under control, which had engulfed “about a third of the building,” Lévis fire department operations manager Éric Saidon reported Friday evening.
First aid was immediately given to one person who was still affected by the flames on site. According to the first available information, the victim was subsequently transported to a hospital.
