A couple and their 10-month-old baby were injured in a spectacular two-vehicle traffic accident in the Saint-Léonard district of Montreal late Thursday morning.
The clash of incredible violence occurred just before dinner on boulevard Lacordaire at the intersection of rue Belherbe.

Under the force of the impact, one of the vehicles involved was thrown onto a Hydro-Québec pole, which severed.

The vehicle ended up on the property of a family home.
A child was in the car with his parents. All were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries that the SPVM said would not be life-threatening.

Collision investigators from the Montreal Police Department were nonetheless dispatched to the scene of the accident to try to determine the cause and circumstances of the accident.
As a result, part of Boulevard Lacordaire was completely closed to traffic.
