discovery of the body

According to a witness, at around 2 p.m., a youth returning from a bike ride saw a man covered in blood in a car.

He immediately alerted his parents, who went to the scene to see the tragedy and contacted 9-1-1.

The police have set up a large security perimeter in this wooded area.

The tragedy happened north of Mount Wright, a few miles from the Stoneham campground.

Chemin des Familles, a small street that appears private, has been closed to traffic.

Investigators searched the area and a drone was deployed to look for possible leads.

Also, photos were taken in a dumpster as if there were evidence.

The command post arrived at the scene of the crime in the early evening. He was due to stay until Tuesday while the investigation continues.

Because the crime scene was isolated and inaccessible, several citizens who live across Talbot Boulevard were interviewed by Le Journal. Everyone was very surprised to see this large police operation.

Louise Richard, who has owned a home in the area for 54 years, explained that since Highway 73 was rehabilitated, Talbot Boulevard has become deserted, even quiet.

“It’s quiet here, I was inside and didn’t hear anything,” she said, surprised and a little shocked that a murder had been committed.
