Adam Wylie, best known for his four-season run on Picket Fences between 1992 and 1996, was reportedly arrested for shoplifting from Target in Burbank.
The former child star, 39, reportedly “just scanned a few items from his cart” in the retailer’s self-checkout area before making a beeline for his vehicle with $108 worth of unpaid health and beauty products.
As he exited the department store, Burbank police told TMZ that Wylie was met by Target security who “recovered” the stolen merchandise.
After the police arrived, the actor, who made his acting debut in the 1990 television film “Without Her Consent” at the age of six, was charged with “petty theft” and released.

He has not publicly commented on the incident on any of his social media accounts.
Fans have already started flooding the comments section on his Instagram to call him out for his alleged crime.
“Did you really steal from the target?” one asked, prompting another fan to defend Wylie as she noted that the question was inappropriate and loud.
The woman, known on TikTok as Judi Howlett, replied: “Did you really come here thinking he was going to answer your question?” “If he’s ready to talk, please stop bothering him until then. “
Still others couldn’t resist asking why he shoplifted “at Target.”
