Britney Spears reunited with her mother Lynne Spears for her 42nd birthday on Friday night as they appeared to put their explosive feud behind them.
The mother-daughter duo were pictured in sweet snaps shared on social media. One picture shows Britney cuddling up to 60-year-old Lynne on the couch.
Another adorable photo shared on hair colorist Baihly B’s Instagram account shows Britney holding her mother in her arms while twirling her in the air.
The pop icon, who had an emergency with her pup during Friday’s birthday party, was also seen leaving her manager’s house on Saturday along with her mother, who had reportedly spent the night there, according to TMZ.
The duo appeared to be on good terms as they said goodbye to each other, as seen in photos obtained by the magazine, after being estranged for years following Britney’s falling out with the family during her 13-year conservatorship.

The feud between Britney and Lynne began after the pop star claimed that Lynne had not lifted a finger to free Britney from the 13-year conservatorship she was placed under in 2008, which was controlled by Britney’s father Jamie Spears.
Britney recently fought with her mother over allegations that her mother threw away her childhood dolls and diaries from her former childhood home.
Insiders claimed that her mother had been selling her possessions both online and at a local consignment shop in Louisiana in recent years.
A source close to the Spears family claimed Lynne made “thousands of dollars” from the sales, while Britney had “no idea” what was going on.
Items allegedly sold included a hat the Stronger singer wore at the 2000 Billboard Music Awards, as well as butterfly boots unveiled at the 2003 Kids’ Choice Awards and a top he wore at a performance in 2002 on MTV’s TRL.
In Britney’s memoir The Woman In Me, the singer had claimed that her childhood dolls and diaries had been removed, and Lynne subsequently denied selling the items and said she would not be so “cruel” to her daughter.
“Early in her career, when Britney came home, she would unload her clothes at her mother’s house in Kentwood. This included things she wore on tours and her personal clothing,” an insider told exclusively.
“She has no idea and would be angry if she did.”
