One of the five children who died in a tragic house fire in Arizona has been identified as five-year-old Zane Michael Jones, according to his mother's Facebook page.

Jones' mother, Nicole Renae Husko, confirmed on Facebook that her 5-year-old son died in the fire on Saturday.

The intense fire broke out around 5 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Anna Circle in Bullhead City, near the Arizona-Nevada border.

Authorities said no adults were home at the time and the five victims, ages 2, 4, 5, 11 and 13, were unable to escape the two-story duplex.

Husko shared pictures of Jones and described her son as a “sweet boy” and a “handsome, bright boy.”

In another post, she shared, “I only spent 5 years with him, please bring me back my baby.”

Husko said, “None of us will ever forget you and the things you have done make everyone smile.”

has contacted the mother who lost a son in the tragedy.

The names of the other children were not released. According to Emily Fromelt, a spokeswoman for the Bullhead City Police Department, four of the children were siblings and the fifth child was a relative.

The cause of this is still being investigated. Members of the city's police and fire departments, as well as other agencies including the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, are investigating the origins of the fire.

Images from the scene showed firefighters frantically spraying the roof of the house to put out the fire.

Lance Ross, public information officer for the Bullhead City School District, told AZ Central that one of the children was a kindergarten student at nearby Desert Valley School.

“It's a growing community, but at its core it's still a small community. “So when something like this happens, people pull together,” Ross said.
