A 30-year-old man was shot and injured in the Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighborhood of Montreal late Tuesday night.
Police were alerted by calls to 911 around 11:40 p.m. about a man who had been shot dead at an apartment on Queen-Mary Road near Décarie Boulevard.

Police rushed to the scene and located the victim, who was hit in the lower body by at least one firearm, which emergency services transported to a hospital.

No suspects were arrested while police conducted checks at the apartment building, a spokesman for the Montreal Police Service said.
The crime scene was protected by a security perimeter to allow investigators and forensic identification technicians to analyze it, SPVM agent Jean-Pierre Brabant said.
