Buckingham Palace is said to be “considering all options” over a royal family row that has escalated in Britain following an intervention by Piers Morgan.

On his TalkTV/Fox Nation show “Piers Morgan Uncensored” on Wednesday, Morgan named the two senior royals accused of making comments about the skin color of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie in a Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame.” have.

The names of the royals are said to have been printed incorrectly and journalist Scobie has denied ever identifying the people in writing. Dutch publisher Xander is investigating how the error occurred and has removed copies of Scobie’s books from sale.

Morgan said the British people had a “right to know” who was at the center of the allegations. He named her during a monologue on his show and shared a clip on his Twitter account (now X), where he has 8.7 million followers.

Most major British publications have not followed suit in identifying the royals. Morgan said he was “outraged” that the press had kept the names secret. “Why should the British be forbidden from knowing what the Dutch know about OUR royal family?” he tweeted.

The former CNN anchor has accused Scobie of lying about not naming the royals. Scobie declined to comment when contacted by Deadline, but told ITV’s This Morning: “I’ve never submitted a book with their names in it, so I can only speak about my version. I’m obviously frustrated.”

The Mirror and The Chron have reported that Buckingham Palace is considering options, including legal action over the scandal. The palace declined to comment when contacted by Deadline.

Without naming the person they accused, Prince Harry and Markle originally made the allegations regarding Archie’s skin color comments during their infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021.

They claimed an unidentified member of the monarchy had “raised concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be at birth.” The Sussexes excluded Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. In Endgame, Scobie claims that two royals – not one, as Meghan originally said – made comments about Archie’s skin color.

Deadline has reached out to TalkTV, Xander and the Sussexes for comment.
