The young woman, 19 years old, also went to the interview and revealed what had happened: “They let me go, they told me you have nothing, go home, it’s just a headache.”

They both persisted and managed to find out that the young woman actually had one Foramen ovale. “It’s a small hole in the heart that won’t close for 30 percent of the population and nothing happens. Sara Sofía then had to undergo surgery and underwent cardiac catheterization to repair the defect. “They put a talisman on it, a little umbrella, that closes the little gap,” Schmitt said.

(Next, Jorge Alfredo Vargas spoke about the most difficult situation he experienced in his life).

“I’m starting to think about everything that happened that could have been fatal, Sarah could have died. “It is a learning to re-evaluate life, to realize that we are like eggshells, that we are very fragile and vulnerable and that we must live in the present, aware of enjoying family, the most precious thing,” said the moderator .

At the moment the young woman is stable and feels much better in terms of health. She thanked her mother for always being there for her.
