Pink says her 10-year-old daughter Willow is not allowed to have her own phone: “I’m not there yet for the kids.”

Pink turns out to be a strict parent after he recently revealed that he does not allow his daughter Willow, 10, to have her own phone.

The 42-year-old singer – who shares Willow and five-year-old son Jameson with husband Carrie Hart, 46 – was interviewed by TODAY Carson Daly said Wednesday that she was “not there yet” when it came to her daughter having a phone.

“There’s a bright and shadowy side to technology in general for adults as well,” the So What hitmaker said, adding, “I’m not there for kids yet.”

The superstar also said that her opinion will not be influenced by her daughter’s requests.

“I have a 10-year-old who doesn’t have a phone, although he told me yesterday, ‘You know most kids in my fifth grade class have a phone,'” Pink recalls.

Pink celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary with Hart in January. The singer and retired motocross rider first started dating in 2001, after meeting at the Summer X Games.

The couple got engaged in 2005 and married in Costa Rica in 2006.

Although they had two breaks in their marriage, they reconciled both times after seeking help from a marriage counselor.
