Brussels/Vienna/Paris/Berlin (OTS) – The European Commission announced on November 16, 2023 that it would approve glyphosate for another 10 years. The international organizations PAN Europe, GLOBAL 2000, Générations Futures and PAN Germany will request the EU Court of Justice to revoke the reauthorization of glyphosate. The four NGOs will argue that EU legislation on pesticides has not been enforced to protect human health and the environment.
