A small plane crashed in Paris late in the afternoon, but did not hit any buildings and there were no fatalities.
The accident involved a Piper PA30 Twin Comanche twinengine piston aircraft, registration number FBPIR, which was flying over the French capital but began to lose altitude and the latest recordings on tracking platforms showed a rate of descent of 2,000 feet per minute. while climbing 2,700 feet (822 meters) in altitude.
There were three people on board, including the pilot, who were injured and taken to hospital.
Firefighters reported that despite the violent crash, the plane did not hit any buildings and part of its tail got stuck in a house while the rest of the plane fell onto the lawn.
The case is being investigated by the local aviation authority and no suspicions have yet been raised about what may have caused the accident in the Villejuif district.
