Juraj Slafkovsky is on a streak of eight consecutive games with at least one point, the eighth-best streak in history for a player under 20 in the NHL, but not close to the all-time record… at the moment.

The mark belongs to Patrik Laine, who, at the age of 19, had scored at least one point in 15 consecutive games between February 16 and March 18, 2018. Even the great Wayne Gretzky didn't do any better when he was 18 and 19 years old. His previous best streak of this kind ended after 12 games, although he finished the 1979-1980 season with a total of 137 points in 70 games.
When he rejoined Slafkovsky on February 16, he became the first player under the age of 20 in Canadian history to collect at least one point in seven consecutive games. Laine's mark is still within reach, but Slafkovsky doesn't need to slow down as the Canadian still has 17 games left before the imposing Canadian winger turns 20 on March 30.
