Singer P!nk wanted to highlight her 18-year marriage and her 22-year relationship with her partner Carey Hart in a touching Instagram post.
Photos of the couple over the years and a long tribute to the man in her life: this is the gift that P!nk gave her husband publicly on social networks.
“If I'm honest, we almost didn't make it, some of them even. When I met you 22 years ago, I just wanted someone who wouldn't lie to me. I had no idea about commitment, about building a life together, about intimacy, about trust. “It’s damn hard,” writes the 44-year-old artist, who has never hidden the ups and downs of his relationship with the 48-year-old motocross professional.
The singer praises the great loyalty, forgiveness and resilience they have both shown since the beginning of their love story.
“I’m proud that we did it this year. I wear our scars proudly. You are my tenacious, beautiful and unwavering rock,” adds the mother of Willow, 12, and Jameson, 7.
“The family we have built, the stories we have woven together, and the memories we continue to create are worth more than a billion awards anyone could give me. “I love you and I love us” , she continues.
The couple met in the summer when he annulled his divorce. The couple announced that P!nk was pregnant with their first child in November 2010 and their second child in November 2016.
Carey Hart also paid tribute to his wife of 18 years on Instagram.
“In the last 18 years of our marriage to this extraordinary person, we have done so much together. Raising two amazing kids, traveling the world, having adventures, loving, arguing, making up, supporting each other, laughing, crying, laughing some more, breaking up, getting back together, celebrating, crying, growing up and a million other things. “There is no one on this planet I would rather do all this with than you,” he wrote.
