New MasterChef Australia host Poh Ling Yeow shared an incredible food hack with her fans on Thursday to ensure tomatoes retain their flavor even in humid weather.
The 50-year-old celebrity chef posted a video on Instagram in which she added smoked salt to her tomatoes to enhance their flavor.
In the footage, Poh can be seen sprinkling smoked salt on some tomato slices before telling fans that the dish will taste extra delicious now.
She explained in the comments section that her food secret ensures the salad retains its flavor, especially during Australia's particularly hot summers.
“The tomatoes are not happy this year.” “Too much rain and humidity but I'll take what I can get,” she wrote alongside the photos.

Adding smoked salt to tomato slices can enhance the fruit's flavor by giving it a distinctive smoky and savory note.
Many of Poh's followers quickly took to the comments section to thank her for sharing her shock tip.
“Now all you need is cheese and some salads,” one fan wrote, and a second person added: “The salt is the best.”
It comes after Poh rang in the New Year with some very cheeky selfies.
The reality TV star, who recently turned 50, posted two photos of herself sunbathing topless in her garden on Instagram on Wednesday, with nothing but a hat covering her modesty.
Fresh-faced Poh beamed and pouted at the camera as she stretched out on a pile of pillows, looking decades younger than her 50 years.

In her caption, the chef admitted that she overworked herself over the holidays and finally forced herself to take a break.
“Well, what do you know?” “I finally got myself together and a day off,” she began.
Poh will appear as a judge on the upcoming 2024 season of MasterChef Australia alongside Sofia Levin, Jean-Christophe Novell and returning judge Andy Allen.
Former judge Melissa Leong will not be returning to the show and the cast reshuffle was announced in October following the tragic death of popular MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo on April 30.
