Tragic accident in Argentina. A 21-year-old police officer killed his 8-year-old nephew after shooting him while he was cleaning his service pistol at his home in the district Lomas de Zamoraprovince Buenos Aires. The unfortunate event occurred on Friday, February 16, at around 1am. The mother of the deceased minor defended her police brother
In statements to media A24, the mother of the 8-year-old boy who died from an accidental gunshot pointed out that the minor's uncle never intended to harm him.
“We finished dinner like we do every day. My brother went swimming because he had security duty at 6 a.m. He finished cleaning the gun, which was unloaded, but I don't know what happened or how a bullet was left behind, but it escaped and he shot the baby. We heard the noise, went out and he was already lying next to the bed. We tried to help him but nothing could be done because the bullet passed through his neck,” he said.

In this sense, he pointed out that his brother tried to seek help immediately, but the minor arrived already dead. “He loves his nephews and would never hurt them. I never doubt that and I’m not mad at him,” she added.
