Hughes is dealing with an upper body injury and played his last game on November 3rd. He left a matchup against the St. Louis Blues after a clash with the gang. Since his absence, the Devils have maintained a 2-3-0 record in five games.

Before his struggles, Hughes hit the target five times and had 15 assists for 20 points in 10 games.

The Devils’ next game is scheduled for Saturday when the New York Rangers visit Prudential Center. The club has not yet stated whether Hughes will train for this duel.
