Pope Francis became a topic on social networks this Saturday (March 25). The religious was snapped wearing a stylish white midi jacket full of detail.

The Pope was dressed by stylist Filippo Sorcinelli, 48, the tailor in charge of the Pope’s attire. The atelier in Rome, Italy has areas for making, sewing and finishing sacred garments.

In an interview with the TAB blog, Filippo said that the entire composition of fabrics, colors and accessories used in the vestments destined for the Pope is determined together with the team of the Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations.

The stylist was also a tailor for Pope Benedict XVI. In another interview he spoke about the differences between the popes:

“These are essential differences, but at the same time marginal because everything is a continuity in the history of the Church. But they are different because all the popes come from different parts of the world with different cultures.”
